Essentials For Success

Failure to Achieve More - Life Success Series

To succeed in life, professionally, financially, or whatever your goal may be, you must fully believe that you will achieve your goal. If you go on thinking that you are likely to fail, guess what? You will.

It all starts with the frame of mind and visualizing yourself as already having achieved your goal. When you do that, it is impossible not to succeed.

The most successful people in the world visualize exactly what they want to achieve and they see themselves going through the motions to get there. That prepares the mind to experience those events and to live them.

When the subconscious mind believes that the goal has already been reached, the process to get there becomes incredibly easy.

Success starts with truly believing that there are not other options but to succeed.

  • Athletes visualize winning the World Cup.
  • Business leaders visualize negotiating the biggest contract of their lives, political figures even prepare themselves by visualize themselves giving historic speeches.
  • Young professionals visualize nailing interviews for the job of their dreams.

But second guessing yourself and wondering if you can achieve puts you in a position to fail before you even begin. You have to fully not only believe that you will succeed at reaching your goal, but actually visualize what that will be like.

Think about how it will feel, how your life will change, how you will react when you reach your goal, and the rewards it will bring.

Eliminate the language that inhibits your ability to achieve. Words like, "I think" or, "I hope," do not have the conviction that is needed to commit yourself to success. Instead, replace those terms with, "Next week when I have accomplished X," or, "I know that."

Try it. Just the language you use alone can dramatically increase your results for success, no matter if it may be in business, relationships, health or finance. You have the ability to achieve your goals, but it starts with believing that it can and will be done.

Failure Is Not An Option by Dominic Tay

"Success is moving from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm - Winston Churchill"
You may have heard or seen this quote being used commonly in many personal development materials. But is that really the truth?
What I've discovered is that it's far from the truth - To many people, they behave as if failure IS an option. In fact, if you have noticed, some people's pattern in life is to give their 'best shot'. But when they do not achieve their initial goal, most of them just stop and give the classic excuse of, "I've already done my best."
Then interestingly, there will be another group of people whose pattern in life is to give their best shot. And when they do not achieve the results they desire, they will try again and again. But because they are always doing the same thing, the same way over and over again, they always get the same results that they don't want. Out of exhaustion and disillusioned,
they will then say, "-I've tried over and over and over again. But I just can't achieve the results that I want. What else can I do?"
Although the second group of people puts in more hard work and time, they still achieve the same quality of results as the first group. And what is even similar is that both of them will eventually condition themselves to accept 'failure' as their end results, based on the common excuse that they have already done their best.
You see. While many people want to succeed, only a few are truly committed to succeed. Why? Because it is a lot easier to accept failure then it is to continue to fight on to achieve success.
But again, there will always be the third group of people who would do whatever it takes to succeed. To them, achieving success in whatever they do is a must. They are people who are truly committed to achieving their goals and they would not have qualms in changing the way they do something until they experience success.
Do you know how Bill Clinton become so successful? Was it because of his eloquence? His ability to influence the people? Of course. At the same time, it is something more than that. It is his attitude. It was said that before he became the President of the United States, he would go around talking to people and sharing his vision of a peaceful nation with them, even late in the night. Whenever he sees a potential voter, he would zoom in and start a conversation with them.
He did not see failure as an option. He knew that he had to win the election so that he can be in a better position to materialize his vision of peace. And even after leaving the Presidency office, he has been involved in public speaking and humanitarian work.
Alright. It's now time to ask you this one important question. Which group of people do you belong to? Are you like majority of the people who accept failure as an option? Or do you constantly tell yourself that you must succeed, and you make sure that work towards your goals?
If you find yourself belonging to the third group of people, let me congratulate you. It means that you are already on the road of manifesting your dreams. If, however, you find yourself falling into first 2 groups of people, do not worry because that's the reason why I came up with this personal development series - I want to help you make it a must to succeed.
